Some kickass updates, yey!
It’s probably in my genes to get rid of my blog for a while and realize that my blog’s becoming one huge empty mass of shit, but of course I still manage to come back and update it. Aaaand I miss my Tumblr blog more than this citrus-colored blog.
BORING DAILY UPDATES:
Friday - Dad got this pharyngitis thing going on in his throat (specifically and obviously, it’s the pharynx) and he’s losing his voice so I quickly cancelled dining with friends at Trinoma at that very night. Then I got home and I saw him smoking. He’s still smoking after all. WTF IS THIS PHARYNGITIS THING ANYWAY?
Saturday - went to someone’s debut at Hotel Stotsenburg somewhere in Clarkfield, Pampanga. We got wheels provided by the debutante which brought us straight from Bulacan to Pampanga. Coolness.
Also, that Saturday - bought that brand-new Monopoly board game for 800 bucks just because of my nephew’s birthday. It’s actually my first gift to him and needless to say, my bank account dwindled even lower than expected. But I quickly deposited money from my dearest Mother.
Sunday - I think the kids and I played three Monopoly games (all of them ended due to bankruptcy).
Wait, the phrase “kids and I” is just so fatherly.
Monday - I went straight to Laguna since my Speech Communication professor ‘last-minutely’ announced an emergency meeting. I’d rather not vent it out here for a while: it’s really maddening. Also, we played DotA from 8 to 1 in the morning, Tuesday.
Tuesday - I woke up and realized that I’m slowly forgetting my blog. :D
And I watched Stay Alive (with Frankie Muniz in it) a while ago. Simply kickass. The movie’s plot is interconnected with a Playstation game (also using the same name) and it’s really thrilling and mind-puzzling.
WHAT KEEPS ME BUSY:
- Shifting papers
- Dad’s resume (I can’t find the french-like e)
- DotA as usual
- Debuts
- Essay writing books!
Dad’s buying me something this Halloween. He told me he’d buy me a vest (Jonas Brothers-like vests, anyone?) or suits (Armani?) for debuts. He said I should be masculine in style, but still fashionable. I can’t get it. Whaaaat does that mean, you GQ*-overloaded father?
*GQ means Gentlemen’s Quarterly. It’s a magazine for dirty old men and men’s fashion.

Cashflow is the new Monopoly now. You should have bought that one instead. Will cost you around 15K, i think. *LOLz*
Cool dad! = D
you really need to get GQ-ed. LOL.
@Gas: I have no idea what Cashflow is but I’ll check it out. 15K? Intriguing.
@Hener: Heh, at least I don’t watch ANTM.
@The Gasoline Dude: It’s more than 15k, it approximately costs 50k methinks.
I have seen Stay Alive. And I kept on laughing (though the movie’s kinda horror) on the part where the 2 characters got killed while having sex. Lol.
man, you shifting na?
I was about to comment on the phrase “kids and I” but then I saw the small note at the bottom. hahahaha!
Hmmm. And shifting papers! You’re finally shifting!!! Where to?
@Cars and @Barry: I’m tired of it. I think I’m not shifting anymore. HAHA
you should be building a closet filled with long-sleeved polos, business suits, tuxes, ties, leather shoes, and stuff. Hmmm…
You’ll be using it often in the coming years. hihi. Unless you’re the what-the-heck-i’m-still-in-love-with-shirt-shorts-and-chucks type of guy! hihi
i have a question: do you think winning monopoly games tell you that you’ll be a successful businessman in the future?
@Rara: Nice question. Uhh, Monopoly has omitted most of the tricky parts (most of them requires decision) of entrepreneurship and the whatevers of the business world. I think it’s not a good basis of whether or not someone’s gonna be a successful businessman. Think about it: you can’t just get a LOT of community chests from the bank. Besides, it’s too microeconomic… or not? I don’t know.
@Yoshke: WHY WOULD I NEED BUSINESS SUITS!? What. I’m 17. I’m not an heir of some corporation.
And I’m the guy who loves wearing shorts and shirts. It’s comfortable. NOT CHUCKS, though. :D
you’re gonna need it for semi-formal, smart casual parties. hihi.
i don’t watch ANTM. JHED DOES.
pwede ba kitang maging tito?
resume, curriculum vitae, pag sa construction worker biodata lang ang tawag LOL
@Yoshke: Wala pa kong party na napupuntahan na ganyan. Siguro pag mas tumanda na ko.
@Hener: Jhed is nonexistent. It’s pointless to mention him here. Hmm.
@V: ONGA NO? Hahahaha pero diba sa GMA7 dati may show sila na “Biodata” for presidential candidates?? :P
microeconomic? so if not businessman, maybe an economist?
@Kevin
I’m an elementary grad of Maquiling, well studied there for grade 6 and 1st yr HS lang actually… and for me, LB’s the best UP campus …. I used to be a tambay there… I miss LB. Nice pics. Used to play baseball there…. argh.. use to walk the whole campus (as in until IRRI) to gather insects and identify their scientific names…I miss LB.
@Kenna: COOL. Haha! Yeah, I also think LB’s the best campus (I’ve been to Diliman and Manila) but that’s just my opinion. Ah, sa Maquiling ka grumaduate. :D Ang ingay ng drum & lyre nila - dinig hanggang Math building! LOL. Anyway.
:p LB’s definitely worth the miss.
@Rara: Yeah, more like an economist. Heh.
“i don’t watch ANTM. JHED DOES.”
*Sob*
I’m so touched you guys still remember me. Haha! And I agree on stacking up some semi-formal attires.. considering your career in economics (LOL!), you’ll probably need it!
“@Hener: Jhed is nonexistent. It’s pointless to mention him here. Hmm.”
OUCH. >_<
@Jhed: you ARE nonexistent in the blogosphere. See, when was your blog post published anyway? Hmm?
And we love you longtime. Lol
oo. pero parang mas gusto ko pa panuorin yung commercials kesa manood nung profiles ng mga presidentiables.
smoking and pharyngitis… tsk, tsk, tsk… man, that throat’s gotta hurt…
