The fossilization of memory. Sounds too scientific, too pedagogic. Very much like the notes I used to write in Zoology, only in a sentimental context. Note that this blog is a hole in my failing consciousness. Now I’m back from Hell.

Okay, the last time I posted a thing here was days ago. A lot of things has been happening, interesting things, I must say, but I can’t find time to blog it since: 1) I haven’t brought my laptop this week and 2) My schedule permits me not to blog at all.

Skeddie!

I suck at pen tool and color-mixing. Kthnx, though.

My sked’s basically a schedule for downright idle and social people. My last class woulds always be 4 instead of 7. But I hated the Friday part since that’s the time where I need to go home EARLY. Boo. And I don’t have Monday classes, like every other UP units.

I’m starting to like this blog. It may be deceitful or misleading in terms of its name since… well, I’m not really cool or mentholated or something like that. But, I don’t know. I guess it rings a bell for two readers to know that HEY, THAT’S KEVIN. Like it was the biggest deal on earth, really. I guess menthol-guy isn’t really that good a name, but it’s probably better than what-the-hell-was-that-blog-again? Utakgago? Yuch.

But maintaining this blog means I need to PAY the domain and hosting, which obviously entails financial stuff and anything. Yet I think I’m ready to pay for anything as long as I’ll keep this blog ’til death. I mean, I’m starting to get irritated of myself transferring from one blog to another the way yuppies buy a new phone over an old one.

Oh well.

My professor in Literature (HUM 1) half-accused me as suicidal right after I was asked to tell to the entire class that J.D. Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye is my ultimate favorite of all the books I’ve read in my entire life (and that’s no exaggeration). She said that the book is depressing, that it induces people to think of certain pessimistic thoughts that are oftentimes damaging to one’s once-optimistic way of thinking instead of letting the readers realize something after some bump on the rock. To hell with that. I never thought that right after I posted something about my being fanboy of Salinger that I’d receive such a huge buttswipe-like comment on my face.

Well, whatever.

My subjects are running smoothly, or maybe it’s just because it’s the first week of classes (well, it’s supposed to be the second week of classes but the FIRST WEEK couldn’t even be considered class hours since you just dilly-dally over freshies and reunite with friends fattened by the semestral break). My HUM 2 (Art, Man and Society) would be requiring us (!!!) to go to Ilocos for a three-day field trip! How’s that for me! Hiyey! Pictures! And the beach! And horse-drawn carriages! And… and Vigan Longganisa! Amazing!

My CRSC 2 (Crop Science 2) is the biggest deal of my semester since we have to plant rice and stuff (!!) in the laboratory part. In the field! Soaked up in the sun wearing bandanas and caps to shield us from the heat. Dude, I’m not after the dirtiness of the work–I don’t even care if I get soiled and soaked up in the sun (pretty exciting since I want to get tanned) but I’m after my interests. I just don’t think I’ll appreciate it. I mean, sure, it’s pretty neat to plant rice and know the basics.

Nothing much, really. I’ll be back with tons of pictures.
